Haus Stap lists guest houses, rooms and lodges from Vanimo to Alotau. Hosts list what they have; travellers find it on the map, book with their BM ID and pay through BSP Pay — with the host paid out by BM after the stay.

Haus Stap uses BM ID for hosts and guests, BM Pay for payment and payout, and the licensed wallet to hold the money in between.
- Blockchain Melanesia holds a Bank of Papua New Guinea e-money licence — money in the app is regulated stored value.
- Payments run through BM Pay on BSP Pay: CIF and mobile OTP, no card details typed into a phone.
- Payment is held by BM until the stay — guests are not asked to send deposits to strangers.
- Hosts are paid only to a bank account BM staff have verified.
- Your phone number is your ID: one-time SMS codes, no passwords, the same BM ID in every BM app.

Is Haus Stap live?
It is in pilot with the first hosts. Listings are growing town by town; if you have rooms to let, talk to us.
What does a host pay?
A percentage of each booking plus a small booking fee, shown when you list. Nothing to list.
Can a guest cancel?
Each listing shows its cancellation terms before you pay; refunds follow those terms through BM Pay.
Does it work for lodges and camps?
Yes — anything with a bed and a price: guest houses, lodges, camp rooms, spare rooms in a family home.
